Abstract:
The article deals with the theoretical and methodological aspects of the mathematical development of children of preschool age and the main components of the mathematical thinking in the application of the methodology for formation of elementary mathematical concepts based on the principles of individually oriented education. Pointed to possible reasons for the low level of mathematical development of children. Considered the gradual formation of mental actions and concepts.
